The adoption agency was Southern Baptist Homes in New Orleans‚ La. My birth mother was 16 years old when she gave birth. I was born on Sunday morning at 12:34am. I was a preemie and was 4 months old when adopted. My birth mother kept in contact with my adoptive mother from time to time to see how I was doing‚ then she decided to stop because she didn’t want to interfere in my relationship with my adoptive parents.
