My daughter was born at Earl K Long hospital in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Her name was changed to Halie and I am not sure what variation of the spelling of that name. She was adopted by a couple from Florida by the names of Rodger and Melodie Wright. I was in prison at the time of birth and they came to the prison for me to sign the adoption papers. They took her immediately from me at the hospital. We were in contact for a couple of years after and then all contact stopped. This was an open adoption.
