I was given away at birth and put into the foster care system. I was raised by a family in Baton Rouge. If I am not mistaken I was 6 or 7 when I was adopted and raised in Kentwood‚ La. I remember the day that I got adopted and before I left the agency where the adoption took place‚ one of the workers told me to remember the name Ella Mae Wesley. That name has stuck with me all of my life and I was hoping that this name belonged to my biological mother.
