Hello! I am Taylor and I’m looking for my birth parents. It was a closed adoption so I don’t have a lot of information‚ but when looking at my birth certificate it says I was born in New Orleans. My adoptive mom has been an RN working with the well babies for years. Around the time I was born‚ she was working at Methodist hospital in New Orleans East. After Hurricane Katrina‚ the hospital was given another name. I was told from my birth parents that I’m not from any of their family members and the papers that may have had the agency’s name on it was ruined in hurricane Katrina. Maybe I could get in contact with the old hospital and see how many baby girls was born on my birthday? Not sure what to do. I have done ancestry didn’t find any matches. I am still going to look though! Anything helps!
