My mother was adopted through an agency as an infant in New Orleans‚ Louisiana in 1947. Her parents told her her birth name was Gloria Rae Hill. I’ve done ancestry and have some close DNA on my mother’s side with some Hill’s‚ but they are all in North Carolina. I have searched on Ancestry and not finding birth records for a Gloria Rae Hill around that time in North Carolina or Louisiana. She’s never looked for her birth family but said she would like to know if she had siblings/half siblings.
