My mom was in the Memorial Home for Young Women‚ New Orleans in the 1940 Census‚ she was 18 at the time the census was taken. This home was run by Catholic Nuns for pregnant un-wed girls and women. Since the census was taken sometime in 1940 with the baby was born in 1939 or 1940. Any help would be appreciated as we are all getting older.
