I am searching for my dad’s birth family. He was adopted in New Orleans‚ Louisiana when he was a baby just a few months old‚ in 1941. The agency was the Protestant Home for Babies (now defunct). At some point‚ we thought we had a document that said his mother was 16 and named Ruby Sue Miller and his father was 24 and named John Charles Blanchard. But these names have turned up nothing and the document was in my dad’s files‚ which have been gone for quite some time.
