This was an open adoption. My Aunt's name is Karen Murphy and would be listed as such on your original birth certificate. But‚ I feel that my 1st cousin is still in or around the New Orleans‚ LA metro area. We do know that the adoption was done through Catholic charities‚ my Aunt stayed in Hotel Dieu in New Orleans until giving birth at I believe Touro Hospital in New Orleans. I’ll update with more information soon.
