Don’t have a lot of information - The mother of the child given up for adoption was Rita Jackson or she could have gone by Rita Pierre‚ She was originally from White Castle‚ Louisiana‚ born in 1931. Her partner and potential father of the child given up for adoption was Preston Pierre (both black)‚ Preston is originally from St. Charles Parish. We believe the adoption took place in the late 50’s or early 60’s. ( possibly 1957-1964. She was living in New Orleans at the time. We believe his name was Randy at birth. He was born at Charity Hospital in New Orleans‚ Louisiana. We have also listed our name under Jimmie Pierre in the Louisiana Adoption Registry.
