My Aunt (young and unmarried‚ sister to my father) from Baton Rouge‚ became pregnant and I was told that she was sent to Hotel Dieu in New Orleans to give birth and give the baby up for adoption. My aunt died several years later (she went into a coma as she went into labor for her daughter). My mother did tell me that she was pregnant with me at the same time my aunt was pregnant‚ so I know this cousin of mine was born with months of me. I have had an empty place in my heart for all of these years‚ just missing my family member. According to what I was told‚ my parents did visit my aunt while she was in New Orleans. I would love nothing more than to meet my cousin and maybe even get to know him (my mother did tell me that my aunt had a son). I was born in October of 1970 and from what I’ve been told‚ my aunt and my mother were pregnant at the same time‚ so this tells me that my cousin was likely born between August 1970 - January 1971.
