I am looking for my grandparents. My mother has passed away - 31 Dec 1997. She and I believed that she was adopted in New Orleans La. Her adoptive mother once showed her some paper work from St Louis Cathedral in New Orleans, the paperwork has since been lost. It listed a Francis Aberdee as father and a May Smith as mother. The adoptive parents were a Mary F Hilton and Fred Hilton. They were living on 532 North Rampart New Orleans, La in 1940 ( US Fed Census). My mother lived most of her life in and around Natchez MS. I am pretty sure all of the people involved are dead by now.
