I was adopted by Carl and Violet Medver three days after I was born. They were wonderful parents. My adoptive mother died two years ago but my father is still alive and living in the home I grew up in in New Iberia, LA. We are very close. I’ve always been curious about my biological family, but afraid to cause any pain to either of my biological parents and to my adoptive family. I’ve had an extremely hard time dealing with my mom’s death. She was such a beautiful person and my best friend. I guess I just would like to feel somewhat connected again.
