I was born John Lewis Russell. My birth mother was Ellouise Russell. Sellers Adoption Agency in New Orleans, LA handled my adoption. At the time, my birth mother lived in the Montgomery, Al area. My birth father also lived in or around Montgomery, AL. He was approximately 24 years old in 1965. My birth mother was 22 years old. They worked together in Montgomery. She was single he was not. My birth father was not aware of my birth until after my birth mother returned from the adoption agency in New Orleans. The day he learned of my birth was the last time they saw each other (early 1966). His name (or part of it) was John Lewis.
