I was young and single. Unable to care for a child. I gave her up for adoption at her birth‚ Nov. 9‚ 1978 in Shreveport‚ La. The adoption was handled through The VOA - Volunteers Of America. I have registered with the Louisiana Adoption Reunion Registry. If my daughter will register with them also‚ they will put us in touch. The VOA told me that she made inquiries with them about her birth parents about 10 years ago. And at that time advised her to register with the LA. Adoption Reunion Registry. I haven’t heard from them. Yet.
