I only know i was adopted thru sellars baptist, born at the charity hospital in new orleans. I was told my birth mom was 17 or 18 . My name was corey untill the adoption then was changed to matthew van . I was told at a young age i was adopted. I never gave it much thought untill my adopt mom died leaving me without any family at all no brothers sisters aunts uncle’s ect . When i had a son i made an effort to locate my blood fam with no success. Recently noticing the bond between my son and wife i realized something was missing . I have never experienced a bond like that . Later i realized i have been missing that my emtire life but didnt recrecognize it . I never realized loneliness would feel like it does . My wife and son amazingly has filled that gap , more than i prolly realize . I need to fill that gap completely. At the very least i would like a picture of both parents . Mostly i want my son to learn of his grand parents .when he first asked about them i didnt think it would be so hard to explain and has bothered ever since
