My twin sister and I were born in Pineville, Louisiana Rapides Parish Hospital @2:33am and 2:35am, on Sunday July,25,1976. We were adopted right after birth and we never knew who our birth parents were, our birth certificates are very vague and have limited information, We were not named at birth therefore our adopted parents named us. Our mother was 14 years of age at the time and our birth father was 19 as stated on our birth certificates. Our mother also wrote us a note explaining her reason for placing us for adoption and my adopted parents told us that they went through a Catholic church that handled adoptions. My adopted father is Catholic and we were baptized as such as babies in Grambling , Louisiana. I would really like to find my birth parents as I have many questions about health and if possible a reunion if either of them wished too, if not it is totally understandable. I have children of my own and not knowing my medical history is scary and I feel I need to do this for my children.
