My boy was born in Charity Hospital in New Orleans Louisiana and we relocated to an Air Force Base infirmary in Chalmette Louisiana‚ I believe. I just truly want him to know I forced to give him up. Born March 28. 1976. I was 16. My parents found an adoption agency. I wrapped up my son (who I’d named Joseph Mark Boesel) in the yellow indie and blanket and breast fed him all the way to the agency. I was told I had 10 days to change my mind. A lie. A blatant lie. I DID change my mind and drove myself to the agency the next day. My son was gone in a closed adoption. Charity Hospital is now closed down since Katrina. I believe records are either at LSU hospital in New Orleans Louisiana or somewhere in Chalmette Louisiana‚ St Bernard Parish. I did dna test In Ancestry a few years ago. I am now 66. He is my son‚ now well into his forties. I thank him every single morning for being my son. I never stopped loving him. I mourn at times‚ but I need to know what happened to him before it’s too late. I love you‚ Joey. Your mom‚ Cynthia Boesel now Fridlich I live in Connecticut now.
