I am searching on behalf of my grandad who has now sadly passed. He was born in Gainsborough and his biological mother was Kathleen Manning. We believe his biological father was a US serviceman. My grandad was born Bruce Manning and was given up for adoption. He was homed in an orphanage in Woolwich, London and at 6 months old was evacuated to Devon where he was adopted. His biological father wanted to be part of his life so we have always wandered if there is family out there who were looking for him.
