My name is Joanne Walsh and I’m searching for my older sister. Our mother died when I was an infant anyone searching for her may have come to a sudden halt. As far as I know, my sister was called Antoinette by my mother, possibly after her father, Antonio? The details I have of the adoption are as follows: Mother: Bridget (Della) Ryan, RN, Approx 19 yrs. Married 1974. Died 1975 aged 30 yrs. Father: Unknown (May have been Spanish/Italian) Female child born on Feb 1st 1965, probably in Ennis, County Clare. Adopted through Catholic Church (Canon Breen?), most likely in Limerick. Adoption may have been illegal. Adoptive parents were American or moved to America I would love to get in touch with a view to meeting. At the very least, I’d like to pass on medical information.
