I was born at Borrowash Nursing home in Derby‚ England to one Nora / Norah Philomena Clancy - who had been in a mother and baby home there after travelling from Ireland. Adopted through the Catholic Children’s Society by parents in Leicester. My father in Ireland may (or may not) have been called Tommy‚ and it is possible that my parents married after my adoption....... but that is only rumour.
