Hello I am the son of "CLAIRE CLOUGH", which is the name my mother had at birth, she was adopted by Roy and Veronica McALISTER who lived in Oldham, I have always known my mother was adopted and I have always known her as Jean mcalister, I have spoke to my mother Jean and mum has given me her consent to try and find our birth family as I have always had a tiny family myself due to my now deceased grandparents not being able to have children of there own, I hope this is of some help as I’m struggling to find information relating to my mums MUM, I know that there is a strong possibility that her mother may also be deceased as she was born In 1954 ish, in Sefton park= Merseyside please try and help me thank you for your time.
