I am looking for my grandmothers half brother who was adopted after the death of their mother in 1946. the person I am looking for was born Richard Charles John Bovey born on the 25th June 1945 I believe in Durban. upon his birth mothers death we believe he was placed in foster care with a Mr and Mrs G.P.M De Beer at address 27A Vausedale Rd Northdene Pinetown. we believe he was committed permanently into their care on the 26th August 1946. I have found old records confirming these details from the Durban child welfare society with the relevant reference numbers for his file. our family would very much like to find out if the person we are looking for is still living and if they are if they would like to make contact.
