I was born at Mothers Hospital‚ (which I was informed burnt down hence no records there) in Kwa Natal‚ South Africa on the 20th of February 1971‚ a baby girl with red hair. It was a Closed Adoption‚ hence I do not have much details‚ through Durban Child Welfare (I am trying to find my records). My adopted mother provided me two different birth names at various times growing up‚ when enquiring what my real name was‚ hence not sure how reliable the information is. I have no information on my biological parents. I was extremely sick the first year of life. I have been told various stories about my birth mother‚ one story was she was on the grounds on the day I was handed over. My adopted parents were from 2 different countries however resided in South Africa in order to adopt children. I am one of 2 adopted children in the family. My brother (from different biological parents) was adopted prior to me.
