Told my birth mother came from Virginia to Kentucky to stay in a home for unwed mothers til I was born then moved back. I was adopted through Chosen Children Adoption Agency‚ ran by Ray and Barbara Kalef. Closed around 2003. No records or files they said we’re sealed until I was of age. I put my request in and it was approved but they had no file for me...? I have my Tshirt from the adoption with my # on it. Tan shirt black letters. Anyone who was involved with chosen children agency‚ a mother or a adoptee‚ if you were in Kentucky at the time frame of 1983-1988 please reach out! We might be able to help each other! I have found and connected to my birth mother‚ Michele R DOB 8/2/1967 Virginia. Am still searching for birth father. Have done DNA tests on all sites and connected with two females who share paternal DNA with me and are listed as close as half sisters‚ but unfortunately one doesn’t know her biological father either‚ and other has many details none of help on identifying whom we all share... Anyone who thinks they can help or the agency rings a bell please message me!
