My adopted name is David Mayer Winkler. Adopted by Herb and Carole Winkler‚ of Cincinnati‚ OH in 1968. There was some initial concern placing me with my adoptive parents as my dad had a serious kidney disease and required dialysis‚ and his life expectancy was a concern. In the end‚ they were granted the adoption via the Jewish Adoption Agency in Cincinnati/Hamilton County‚ Ohio‚ I THINK. But could also be Kentucky just across one of the bridges from Cincinnati. From what I’ve learned of my birth parents‚ my mother had already graduated high school and was approx 4’? after having polio as a child. She had one sister. During my adoption‚ my maternal grandmother was marrying a Rabbi‚ and my grandmother and mother and aunt were converting to Judaism. Unknown Temple affiliation. My birth father was still a high school senior‚ reportedly very tall‚ approx 6’3-6’5‚ and a basketball star. Unknown high school. He wanted to marry my birth mother‚ she obviously declined. I’m more interested on finding my birth father. I will tell you I’m 6’3‚ hazel eyes.‚ an athlete my whole life. My father’s name‚ I am now told‚ is/was ALBERT LYNN. Unknown if that’s his first and middle or first and last. I’ve been married for 25 years and have two incredible sons. Hope to find you. David
