Tanya was adopted through the Church of England adoption society after having been with a temporary family for 6-10 weeks from birth. She was taken straight from Pembury hospital 10 days after birth. As far as I am aware she was adopted in Brighton to a couple who had already adopted one other child I believe a boy as they could not have children.
