I’m trying to find my Nana’s (born Frances Ann Smith) birth family‚ her father wasn’t listed on the birth certificate and she was adopted when she was 3 years old. I think she has a half brother out there‚ last name Molyneux... (a great uncle DNA match who hasn’t been online for over a year). Nana’s mother was Annie Smith who lived in London in 1937 then was in Kent 1939. Annie worked as a Cafe Waitress in Gillingham at the time of adoption but as mentioned above I think she actually conceived in London. Clear DNA ties to a large Cole family line from Scotland‚ ancestor couple known thanks to other relatives - Charles Cole and Janet Shaw 3rd gt-grandparents. Am missing one generation in between my Nana‚ and known ancestors‚ simply can’t find anything. If love to get in contact with someone who might know anything... Nana moved to New Zealand in 1963 but came back to England a few times in search of her parents...
