I’m searching for the biological parents of my paternal grandmother Jacqueline Sylvia Hasler “Sylvie”. She was adopted by Cecil Hasler and his wife Violet Purchase. I have no adoption date. Sylvia was likely born in October 1930. Her adoption is recorded on her marriage certificate to my paternal grandfather Robert Barber. Sylvie told some of her children she grew up in an orphanage‚ I’m not sure how true this was as she was estranged from her father. The location would likely have been Erith‚ Dartford‚ Crayford‚ Belvedere areas. Certainly south east London. Thank you. Emma
