My birth name is Irina Borisovna Ignatova‚ and I was adopted in December of 2000 from Rudny. I was first sent to kostanay reception‚ before going to the orphanage. My biological mother's name is Yulia Vladimirovna Ignatova. I was renounced at 3 years old‚ but had been with my mother's family previously. One day after dropping me off at the reception in kostanay‚ my mother submit a letter stating she was homeless and unable to care for me‚ relinquishing her rights‚ according to the documents. I have wondered about her for a very long time. There is a lot lost in translation‚ and there was talk that some death documents regarding Yulia's whereabouts might have been forged‚ so as to expedite the international adoption process. Again‚ there are a lot of things lost in the translation of these documents.
