Kansas Children’s Service League in Wichita, KS handled my adoption. The social worker was Rosalie Sacks. I lived with a foster family for 3 weeks until my adoption was finalized on June 10, 1967. My birth mother’s name was Sharon Bennett. I was told she was tall, 5’10", had brownish hair, and was creative (sewed). She was the tallest woman in her family. I don’t know anything about my birth father, except he was also 5’10" and he wasn’t the tallest man in his family. I am of French, German, British & Irish descent. My birth certificate states I was 7 lbs 10 oz and 21.5 inches long. I have blue eyes and had very light blonde hair. I don’t want to disrupt their lives or cause pain, but I’ve been curious for over 52 years and would appreciate any information my birth family would be willing to share.
