Looking for my brother born September 5th 1960/61 in KC‚KS or KC‚MO. African American (will appear mixed‚ black/white). Birth mother stayed at Florence House in KC‚ Mo until birth in KS. His adoptive parents were Africian American but an older couple. Name at birth was John West Jr. but I feel his name was changed. Heard at 8yrs old he had medical treatment at University Hospital in Columbia‚ MO. Think he grew up & still may be in KC‚ MO or surrounding area. Could be closer to Columbia‚ Mo. not sure if he knows he’s adopted but assuming by now adopted parents may be deceased. Closed/Sealed adoption so limited info. Birth mother wants to meet/have relationship‚ etc. has other siblings that wants to make our family complete.
