Please help me. I was born Aug. 14 th 1959 in Salina Kansas. My birth name is Deborah Kathlene Sherrill. My mother had told me that when I was 9 months old a man named Clifford Jerome LaValle had adopted me and married my mother. Her name was Cora Etta Brown ( maiden ) or she may of went by Cora Etta Sherrill from her first husband. I have contacted Topeka Kansas about my adoption records and they wrote back and said that there were no records from the yes I gave them from 1959 to 1960. Clifford was in the Air Force. Him and my mother are no longer alive. They separated when I was 6 years old. On my birth certificate it says that my father was Thomas Ray Sherrill. Please help me. I need some peace of mind.
