I was born in Shawnee Mission, Kansas on 4/18/80 and was adopted just a day or two after my birth. My adoption was arranged privately by an ObGyn doctor who knew both my birth mother and my adoptive mother. The social work report states that my birth mother was 17 years old when I was born. I am searching for my birth parents in hopes that I might unlock some answers about my origin story, family lineage, and guide my understanding of where (and who) I come from.
