Born 24 Nov 1945 - 1946 was placed in the care of the Kansas Chiled Protection when I was about two months old. Foster care at multiple homes and finally placed in the Atchinson Orphange. Was chosen for adoption in Oct 1947. Adoption was finaliized in April 1946. Tried to get a copy of my final adoption paperwork & was told they no longer existed. Kansas being an open adoption state did give a copy of some of my paperwork.
