I am on a search for my mother who was born in Iowa in 1952 to a women who was 35 years of age at the time she had my mother and her twin brother. We know that my mother’s biological mother had three children all boys ages 9,6, and 5 at the time of my mother and her twins birth. We know that her biological mother had been charged for embezzling money and was sentenced to serve 8 months up to two years prior to my moms birthday. We mnow that the women who gave birth. Her biological mother also had a twin brother and two younger brothers and sister age 32, 30 and 28. We know that she was originally from Florida but at least some of her family was here in Iowa. We know this because while she was incarcerated one of her brothers had custody of her oldest child. The younger children went into state care undtil she was released. The card on my moms hospital bassinet says baby girl grimes. We also know that her biological mother signed paper work for them to be adopted on the 25th of August.
