I finally received my original birth certificate before adoption. My father’s name was Jack R Bruce, and he was 26 when I was born in 1946. My mother was Amanda Mae Siegle, and she was 28 when I was born. I had 2 other siblings that were already in the household, but when I remember the trip to the orphanage it was me and two younger brothers. I was born in Lyons Hospital, Atlantic Township, Rice County Kansas. I am curious to see if I have more than just the younger siblings that I remember, and I would like to find out more as to why I was adopted.
