My grandmother‚Maria Rogari‚ daughter of Marino and Rosa Ghirelli was born in Gubbio Italy on Oct. 31‚1883. Her parents were married on Feb. 3‚ 1883 in Gubbio. Marino’s parents were Raffaele and Teresa Costi who were also born in that area. Rosa’s parents were Francesco and Albina Ceccacci‚ both of Gubbio. My grandfather‚ Adamo Mariotti‚ son of Vincenzo and Assunta Gasparri was born in Costacciaro‚ Italy on Aug. 26‚ 1881. Vincenzo’s parents were Luigi and Maria Bellucci from that area. Vincenzo was also born in Costacciaro. Luigi was from Fossato di Vico but moved to Costacciaro where he and his family worked as tenant farmers on a farm called Collalto. Assunta’s parents were Luigi and Teresa Paciotti of Scheggia‚ Italy. If anyone has any info on these families or thinks that they might be related I’d really like to hear from them! Contact me.
