I am looking for any and all records pertaining to my maternal grand mother‚ TERESA CORCIA born in Rome Italy in 1893. Family members she was orphaned at a young age‚ then lived in a Catholic run Nuns home until she was adopted‚ by a Giuseppe & Angelia Costanzo from Coreno Ausonio (FR) Lazio‚ Italy. I have no paper work regarding how she ended up being with the Costanzo family. She married in Coreno Ausonio to Giovanni Viccarone and in 1928 both migrated to the USA. The comune (city) drafted a birth certificate on their official form from Coreno Ausonio‚ hand editing it for travel/immigration purposes by inserting born in "ROMA" in addition listed her parents as ANTONIO & FILOMENA CORCIA.
