Informed birth mother was from California and in high school ( age 17) and was sent to live with a family in Des Moines Iowa during the pregnancy and to give birth. I was delivered by Dr. James Kelso at Mercy Hospital in Des Moines, Iowa. I was told my birth mother’s father was the Principal of a school. Parents who adopted me were from Minnesota. This was a private adoption, and I am not at all sure about the accuracy of this information.
