Hi I am searching for any family members I may have on my mother's side of the family. I was born premature on June 25 1968 at University Hospital in Iowa City Iowa. My birth mother's name was Sandra Kay Mitchell of the Waterloo Ceder Falls area in Iowa. I would love to find out more about my mom and her side of the family. I have already met most of my family on my dad's side. And love them dearly. But I've only been able to get in contact with a few of my relatives on my mom's side. But I can't seem to find much out about my mom. I do know that she loved me. She even named me. On my original birth certificate my name is Joyce Renie. My mother's name was Sandra Kay Mitchell and my father's name is Ron Lawson from Red Oak Iowa. Unfortunately he's has dementia and isn't able to recall much . But since meeting him he has shown me nothing but love. I would love to meet my mother's family. I was able to get in contact with my mom's adopted daughter Shelly. But she refused to tell me much about my mom. If someone out there could help me it would make the world of difference to me
