My father was adopted as a baby by Ray and Virginia Bisbey. They resided in Waterloo, Iowa (Black Hawk County). We were always told my Dad’s birth parent’s last name was Truelson and they were either from the Des Moines area or Waterloo. It is unclear and we do not have any other information and my father passed away in November of 1990. My siblings and I have been unable to find any information about his real family/parents. We are all getting older and very curious as to our ancestry and learning about the circumstances of his adoption.
