I am looking for my bothers. They were born in Iowa City IA at the university hospital. I have records for one. He was born on 12/24/1973 and was put up for adoption on 1/1974.My mothers name is Judy D. Ferns ( birth name Garrison ) she was 23 or 24 when the birth and adoption took place. I believe that the other child was born in 1971 in November 2. She would have been 20 or 21 at the time of birth and adoption. She lived in Muscatine IA at the time of both births but delivered in Iowa City. She was married to Andy Ferns when the first child was born. He signed off on the adoption as the birth father and they later divorce. On the second adoption Timothy John Hagens was listed as the birth father. Both petitions for adoption were done in Muscatine county in Ia.My mother requested when the second child was born that he might be placed with the same family that the first boy was placed with.
