Hello‚ My dad was adopted by Jim and Edith Bruns in or near Davenport‚ Iowa. He was born on September 21‚ 1951. We believe his birth parents were very young and went on to marry and have other children. As far as we know the adoption was done ’off the books’ and the adopted parents were listed on the birth certificate. I believe the adopted mother’s uncle (Charlie Peart or John Peart) was the doctor that delivered my dad.
