I am looking for my birth mother or any member of her family. I am a female born in Iowa City, Iowa on February 17, 1950. Adoption was through Hillcrest in Dubuque. I was told my maternal grandfather was a carpenter. My birth parents were not married. I belive my birth mother may have been from either the Oelwein or Waterloo, Iowa area. I had a wonderful adoptive family and an extremely good life as a result of the adoption but I am very curious about my birth family and would welcome any level of contact.
