I am searching on behalf of my grandmother who was adopted in Iowa at almost exactly the time of her birth in a private adoption. Her birth mother was of Irish descent and I believe held the family names of either O’Brian/O’Brien or Rawley. We have been told her mother gave birth somewhat in secret under the name "Theresa Bryant"‚ but was likely not her real name.
