The adopted person (male) was given up for adoption as an infant in Polk County, Iowa. The birth father met the adoptive mother at the courthouse and spoke to her, alongside a DHS worker and voluntarily relinquished rights. We believe the name of the birth father was David Thompson - but are unsure if this is the correct spelling or the name he goes by. Bio parents were not a couple, but more likely a short term relationship. Bio mom was uncertain of father, so several men were tested.
