I’m 66 almost 67 years old. I’m female and considered Caucasian‚ although I American Indian as well. I was born in Iowa‚ I believe somewhere around Iowa City. I was adopted in 1961 with my baby brother. We in an orphanage for about 2 to 6 months. Our mother died was determined to be a suicide‚ but I was there and my father killed her and made it look like a suicide. We were then sent to an orphanage. We were there at Christmas time and were adopted at Christmas. My birth name was Cynthia Kay and my brother’s was Timothy James or Jeffery James. I don’t know our last name. It might have started with a D.No one knew at the time about my mother’s death but me. I didn’t remember the details until I was about 17 years old. My brother was born with fetal alcohol syndrome. He was 3lbs 4oz at birth. I really want to find someone in my family or knew them. I need closure and my health is not good. I was adopted to a family in Exline Iowa and raised there along with my brother.
