My mother told me she got pregnant at 17‚ went to a 'home for unwed mothers' and then gave birth to a male child. She would have been 17 in April of 1959. So‚ I believe the child to have been born in 1959 or‚ more likely 1960. She is from Fort Wayne‚ Indiana‚ but I cannot be certain that is where the adoption took place. Unfortunately‚ she passed away in 2019‚ but I'm still looking for a sibling.
