We searched births for Bedford and Marion county both in IN. as that was the most likely region of birth. This search is for my mother’s biological parents. She passed in January 2015. I continue to search, as she has 7 children, 15 great grandchildren + and we still need and would love to know if we are following the correct ancestry. She had an adopted brother who was born 11 years prior and his birth was in Bedford, IN. Don’t know if that is related. She was a child prodigy. Playing all the classical music from the age of 2-3 years old. Her violin teacher ended up being her almost constant companion. Adolf Koler from Germany. Perhaps related? Her adoptive parents were Francis Joseph Grant and wife Rachel Evelyn Grant Nee: Logan. Rachel could have had a sister who needed her help with a daughter? We just don’t know.
