Searching for Korean birthmother or birthfather: The name given to me was Joo‚ Hyun-Joo‚ but I don't know if it was given to me by the orphanage or birth family. I was found in Busan‚ South Korea‚ on April 30‚ 1973 at 5AM in front of a beauty parlor called Young Shin. The address was Jin gu‚ Jeon po 1 dong‚ 308 byun jii‚ Pusan. I was then taken to the Sohwa Orphanage‚ which was located where Nam chean catholic church is now located. I was then taken to Holt Childrens Services in Seoul on May 23‚ 1973. The attached photo was attached to my file at Sohwa (I obtained just a few years ago with the help of another adoptive parent). I believe this is an image of me at the time I was found (I was just a month old at the time).
